Antique French Library StairsLibrary stairs from France made of solid wood construction, primarily walnut and finished with a lustrous French polish of museum quality. We loved the solid brass finial on top of the pole. There are three steps lined with gilt embossed black leather and a holding stem finished with a gilt brass finial. This piece is in very nice antique condition with only minor surface wear consistent with age and use. The photos accurately depict the condition.

Instructions aren’t very clear. Takes a bit to figure out. Pretty cheap quality, but seems to be sturdy. The metal basket part of ours came rather bent and had to do some bending to get it to fit right. Decent size could be little thicker. They look good though once up.
